Draft Trades

Though there was not much trading happening on Friday, the first day of drafts, there was a good bit of trading that happened on Saturday, day two of trading.  Here are all the trades that happened during the day:

* The Atlanta Thrashers traded a 2009 4th round draft pick to the Los Angeles Kings for two 2009 4th round draft picks and a 2009 7th round draft pick.

* The Atlanta Thrashers traded a 2009 6th round draft pick to the Chicago Blackhawks for a 2010 5th round draft pick.

* The Calgary Flames traded negotiating rights to defenseman Jordan Leopold and a 2009 3rd round draft pick to the Florida Panthers for the negotiating rights to defenseman Jay Bouwmeester.

* The Dallas Stars traded a 2009 6th round draft pick to the San Jose Sharks for a 2010 6th round draft pick.

* The Edmonton Oilers traded rights to forward Kyle Brodziak and a 2009 6th round draft pick to the Minnesota Wild for 4th and 5th round draft picks.

* The Edmonton Oilers traded a 2009 7th round draft pick to the Ottawa Senators for a 2010 6th round draft pick.

* The Los Angeles Kings traded center Brian Boyle to the New York Rangers for a 2010 3rd round draft pick.

* The Los Angeles Kings sent 2009 3rd round pick to the Calgary Flames for 2009 3rd and 4th round draft picks.

* The Los Angeles Kings traded 2009 4th and 5th round draft picks to the Florida Panthers for a 2010 3rd round draft pick.

* The Nashville Predators traded a 2009 5th round draft pick to the Tampa Bay Lightning for a 2010 5th round draft pick.

* The Nashville Predators traded a 2009 7th round draft pick to the St. Louis Blues for a 2010 7th round draft pick.

* The New York Islanders traded a 2009 2nd round draft pick to the Colorado Avalanche for 2009 3rd and 4th round draft picks.

* The New York Islanders traded a 2009 3rd round draft pick to the Phoenix Coyotes for a 2010 3rd round draft pick.

* The Pittsburgh Penguins traded goaltender Chad Johnson to the New York Rangers for a 2009 5th round draft pick.

* The Pittsburgh Penguins traded a 2009 7th round draft pick to the Montreal Canadiens for a 2010 6th round draft pick.

* The Phoenix Coyotes traded defenseman Brandon Prust to the Calgary Flames for defenseman Jim Vandrmeer.

* The Phoenix Coyotes traded a 2009 7th round draft pick to the Vancouver Canucks for the rights to defenseman Shaun Heshka.

* The Washington Capitals traded defenseman Sami Lepisto to the Phoenix Coyotes for a 2010 5th round draft pick.
